"Pseudo-MPEC" for 1964-054A = NORAD 00879 = OGO 1

This has observations from the last two orbits of the object, before it re-entered over Tahiti at 2020 Aug 29 20:46 UTC. The area/mass ratio is essentially determined from atmospheric drag during the last non-re-entering perigee.
There is a pseudo-MPEC and comments about this object from early 2018, at a time when I could say it would re-enter in August 2020 but not be very specific about when or where; and a pseudo-MPEC and comments from mid-2019, when we had more data and a slightly better prediction, but still not good enough to say where it would re-enter.
In fact, those circumstances were sufficiently vague that I didn't try to get people to keep tracking the object in the weeks before re-entry, when it was losing speed at each perigee. Thus, its ephemerides gradually degraded until the object was found by the Catalina Sky Survey on August 26 and given the designation C1979A1. Sam Deen quickly noticed that it was a likely re-entering artsat, as did folks at JPL and elsewhere. Speculation as to its identity followed (see thread following Sam's post). I was out of the reach of the Interwebs (camping trip), but somebody noticed the above pseudo-MPECs from two years before and figured out that it was 1964-054A = OGO 1.
Over the following few days before re-entry, many people contributed observations (thank you!), enough to provide a very solid prediction that the object would re-enter over Tahiti. And, in fact, we have a video of the object re-entering and breaking up over Tahiti at the predicted time.
