"Pseudo-MPEC" for JWST Booster = 2021-130B = NORAD 50464

It looks as if this booster had a small velocity change, of around 2 m/s, sometime around 0:00 UTC on 26 December, and then another small change about a day and a half later. Jonathan McDowell, upon whom I usually lean for questions of this ilk, tells me the object was deliberately put into a "disposal" heliocentric orbit (to keep it from running into anything in Earth orbit), but that if any fuel got left over, it could vent later on.
With Centaurs, Jonathan says the leftover liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen are vented separately (makes sense; venting them simultaneously in the presence of any live wires could be... exciting). But you do want to get rid of them; for boosters in LEO, you could end up with a lot of bits of debris if they eventually blew up. This isn't a Centaur, but something similar is probably going on.
It's likely that astrometric data will continue to come in until late February 2022, when the object drops to around magnitude 21 and is roughly 0.025 AU (about ten times further than the moon) from us. After that, we'll see it next in mid-2047, when it will reach magnitude 20 or so, and the next generation of asteroid surveys will find it. Basically, the booster will go around the sun 24.5 times between now and then, and the Earth will go around the sun 25.5 times. So we will "gain a lap" and catch back up with the booster.
After that, it'll do the same thing for many millennia, coming in for a close-ish flyby every couple of decades. Eventually, a flyby will be quite close and either hit the moon or the earth (harmlessly; it's big as boosters go, but it's not that big.)
