"Pseudo-MPEC" for Juno

This object was also observed shortly after lift-off in August 2011; click here for the pseudo-MPEC from those observations. The 2011 astrometry can't be linked to the current data, due to an intervening maneuver.
As you can see from the orbital elements, this object was in an orbit with a period of about two years. After it left earth in 2011, it made one orbit while we made two. The 2013 encounter gave it some additional energy, such that it can encounter Jupiter at aphelion.
